TV personality Ashley Cain welcomed his son a month early, and so he missed the birth due to being away filming.
The former footballer, 34, posted a photo of his third child, Atlas Diamond Cain, alongside a heartfelt caption.
‘When you rearrange your final two filming dates three times to make sure you’re back for your son’s birth, fully expecting him to be just like you – LATE. He surprises everyone by showing up a month early!’ he started the caption.
He continued: ‘Even though I’m absolutely gutted I couldn’t be there, my heart is bursting with love and excitement.
‘I can’t wait to leave the danger zones behind and come home to the best welcome ever – hugs, kisses, and sleepy snuggles on the sofa with my beautiful baby boy.’
He then paid tribute to his late child Azaylia, who died at eight months old in April 2021, by calling her ‘the most beautiful, strong and courageous guardian angel’.
He shared Azaylia with his ex-partner Saffiya Vorajee, 36. He has not disclosed the identity of the mother of his other two children.
He then celebrated the ‘unbreakable bond’ he will have with his 10-month-old brother Aliyas.
He concluded the post: ‘May your body grow strong, your mind grow wise, your heart remain loving, and your spirit stay pure and truly powerful! See you soon, my boy – I love you’.
The media star is currently filming a new BBC show, Ashley Cain: Into The Danger Zone, where he explores the world’s most dangerous and beautiful places.
Following the death of Azaylia, the Ex on the Beach star has completed many fundraisers, including a mammoth 3,000 challenge this summer, which raised almost £200,000 in her memory.
He and Safiyya also have a charity in their daughter’s name, dedicated to fighting childhood cancer.
Ashley only announced that he was having a third child a week ago. Sharing a photo of a baby scan, he wrote to his 2.2million followers this afternoon: ‘“Another One” **DJ Khaled Voice**
